When you hear the word ‘Nature’, what strikes your mind? – tall trees, lush green valleys, boundless meadows, bewitching cascades, flowery bends, romping livestock and then, everything that surrounds you. Nature implies to all the animate and inanimate materials that are created by the almighty and is the most beautiful substance.Everything that we perceive is a gift of nature along with the man-made objects as the raw material and the source used in making is always a natural product.

Man is also a product of nature, created by God. But God’s best creation; His supreme discovery -Man, in order to fulfil his petty selfish ends, has become the biggest threat to nature. Each one of us is in a great competition with one another in the sense how much bigger destructor one can be! In this way, we are heading towards a touch and go situation.

The devastation is not being made only by deforestation, but also all types of pollution (noise, air or water). We are depleting nature in every domain by making the ozone hole bigger every flying moment. Today, man is educated and knows the mandatory cycle of nature; but who cares? We all are so engulfed and engrossed in materialistic gains and are blindly running a race to achieve more and more that we just turn a deaf ear to the shrieks of nature. I want to ask what is the end of this never ending sprint? Nothing!Just a 6 feet grave! Is this we all are aspiring for? Not at all, we must learn how to live.

How to live? We all consider ourselves living as our respiratory systems and hearts are working properly and we are not declared dead by your medical practitioner. But are we really living? I would say,”No! We are not living in true sense to the word. We are just dragging our lives.” We are not healthy. We get tired very soon and most of us are taking pills for one or the other reason. Why? Why don’t we consider ourselves healthy? Here, I am talking about physical as well as mental health. By physical health, I mean all our body parts should function properly; our daily routine should be maintained and we should not feel brain dead after 5 or 6 days’ official work. Instead, we should relish a joyful weekend. So far as mental health is concerned, we should feel happy and content with ourselves. By contentment, I mean being satisfied with everything that we have in our lives. Here,I do not intend to become a bone idle. But, where can we find the key to mental and physical health? It lies around us. Of course, nature is the panacea we all should look for.

For my money, being enthusiastic to achieve a noble aim is different from being callous and cunning in order to degrade another human being. This is not how nature works! Nature’s perspective is only to give and nothing to receive in return. You must have heard,” Give your best to the world, and best will come back to you.” It is the same with nature also. Excessive deforestation and pollution will result in nature’s and ultimately our death in one way or the other. If we want to live a healthy life, we must contribute to the beauty of God. We must learn to live for others and not to harm anyone just to fill our arms with artificial achievements. We need to become sensitive towards nature and only then, we will be acknowledged living beings in true sense. Thence, the sole purpose of God’s creation (Nature) will be fulfilled. Let us make the Earth blissful and worth living!
